Old House Renovation Project
Overview
We started off this old house renovation project by removing the dated asphalt shingles. The old roof was then replaced with DaVinci Manufactured Slate roofing with copper flashing and new roof sheathing.
Next, we unfastened the existing siding and new LP SmartSide Lap siding was assembled on the exterior with new entry doors and Viwinco windows. The second story deck was also updated with different railings and trim work.
Lastly, we redid the patio on the backside of the house, adding a copper roof so the outdoor space can be enjoyed even when it’s raining.
Before & After
In this old house renovation project, the owners were able to get a clean, modern look without having to compromise their home’s original exterior. As shown in the before and after, we were able to keep the home’s original stone and brick work, while updating other exterior elements.
